Why Vertical Farming?

Primary Mission: Shelter and Support

Josh’s Farm is dedicated to offering a helping hand to those who are homeless. Our focus is on providing a safe place to sleep, regular meals, and the support needed to help our guests get back on their feet and back into the community.

Food Production: Feeding Our Community

We grow food – lots of it. Our urban farm uses vertical farming to produce healthy, organic vegetables right here in the city. This isn’t just about growing food; it’s about feeding our neighbors and strengthening our local food system.

Venue: A Unique Space for Events

Our farm doubles as a venue for events, offering a setting that’s full of greenery and unlike any other in Austin. It’s a place where people can gather for meetings, parties, and community events surrounded by the plants we grow.

Diverse Revenue Streams

Beyond providing shelter and growing food, we’re exploring various ways to sustain our farm financially. This includes hosting events, offering educational tours, and selling our produce directly to the community. Every dollar we make supports our mission and the people we serve.
